We Cater To the Needs of Those Individuals Who Are Not So Privileged.
The Mark Headbush Foundation was formed in Nelson Mandela Bay in 2005. The foundation is driven by its core values to secure a better future for all children and prepare them to be self-assured in engaging with their future challenges and accomplishments. Our Mandate is to make a difference in the early learning phase, focusing on learners from the ages of
0-9 years or grade R-3. This is our way of ploughing back into our communities, just as the saying goes, “Charity begins at Home”.
The foundation has managed to raise over R6 Million through the years. All funds raised
have been directed towards the beneficiaries, to improve the state of early education in
the NMB Metro. In a significant achievement, the Foundation has been approved for
Income Tax Exemption by the South African Revenue Service (SARS), as evidenced by
PBO Reference No. 930078016 and Income Tax Reference No. 9697840180.
Mark Headbush Foundation Chairperson’s Message of Hope
As we reflect on the success of our Annual Nelson Mandela Bay Mayoral Charity Golf Days, I am filled with hope and gratitude. The inaugural events marked a significant milestone for the Mark Headbush Foundation, and we are thrilled to have shared it with all of you. The generosity and enthusiasm displayed by our golfers, sponsors, and volunteers have left an indelible mark on our organization.
Mr. Mark Headbush
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
We give underprivileged individuals hope and show them know that they matter in society.
In this world we live in there are a lot of under privileged people, be it children or adults. These people may not have necessarily have support structures, no families or loved ones that the ordinary person enjoys.
The Mark Headbush Foundation was established to cater to the needs of these individuals who are not so privileged. We are trying to give these individuals hope and letting them know that they matter in society.
Operating at Zwide Primary School, the pupils plant vegetables. In association with a local soup kitchen we assist about 200 hundred people. We provide agricultural implements and seeds.
The Kama Project: This is a flagship of the Mark Headbush Foundation as the foundation has spent more than five hundred thousand R 500 000 in infrastructure since the start of this project in early 2012.

Kama is a primary school that previously had no playing field, but today has a green field due to the intervention of Mark Headbush Foundation, The foundation is working hand in hand with the school head principal (Mr. Andile N. Dlawu) and the staff-teachers, together with Parents the Community and the School Governing Body in terms of furthering assistance to the school.
We give underprivileged individuals hope and show them know that they matter in society.
